The Last 2 weeks

The last 2 weeks have been crazy!! Even though I have been home, it seems like I get NOTHING done. I am constantly watching Holden to make sure he is not putting things in his mouth, pushing buttons he shouldn't, not falling and hitting his head, it is all exhausting. I have learned to take naps when he does, that is key in staying patient.

I have learned to put him on a schedule and he pretty much sticks to it except when bed time comes. He hates going to bed before everyone else, he does not want to miss a thing! He also knows who to go to when he has pooped in his diaper, good old Omma (mommy), gotta love the poppy diapers!!!

I took him to Disney and swimming this past Wed. He had a blast in the pool!! I think he is too young to appreciate Disney just yet. We took him on the Haunted Mansion ride and he slept through the whole thing! That's my son, he WILL have his nap when he wants it!

I am going to post a few pictures of his bath time, his room and just his cute little self.

  6. Trying to keep up with these other Korean adoption blogs! Your son is adorable! We are also adopting from Korea. Our dossier left about a week and a half ago (but who is counting!!) How long was your referral wait? Don't worry about all that isn't getting done--just enjoy your baby! :)

  7. Kelly,
We waited 7 months and 7 days to referral and then 2 weeks, 2 days to Travel Call. Depending on who you are with in Korea, your wait may be shorter or longer than ours.

  8. Kelly, that was supposed to be 2 months, not weeks.
